Mini SD
It was the surge in popularity of mobile phones around the turn of the millennium that led to the creation of the mini SD card. It was launched in March 2003 by SanDisk Corporation and first demonstrated at CeBIT 2003. The Mini SD was instantly compatible with a wide range of mobile phones but the inclusion by SanDisk of a mini SD adapter enabled all devices that worked with standard SD cards to transfer memory to and from the mini SD. Like the SD card before it, the Mini SD has become so common as to be taken for granted by gadget users and, as you would expect, digi-Quick is always well stocked.
