This battery grip fits the Nikon D300, D300S, D700 digital SLR cameras and allows you to increase the battery capacity that you would normally receive. This battery grip attaches to the bottom of the camera using a secure fixing screw. The battery grip will allow you to insert one EN-EL4 battery (please see the picture opposite, image 1), or one EN-EL3e using a different battery tray (image 2). Camera handling is also improved as the grip lowers the centre of gravity especially when using longer, bulky lenses. It has also been designed to fit in with the style of the Nikon D300, D300S, D700 camera bodies. A sophisticated built-in power management system regulates the output to the camera. This grip also features a storage area to store the battery cover to prevent it getting lost when removed from the camera. This Nikon D300, D300S, D700 battery grip can also be powered from 8 AA sized alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, this is especially useful when your EN-EL4 oe EN-EL3e batteries have lost their charge and you need to continue shooting providing a flexible backup solution when travelling. A battery tray is provided that will slot into the compartment allowing you to use AA batteries (please see image 3 below). Please note: EN-EL4 and/or EN-EL3e batteries or AA batteries are not included with this offer and are used for illustrative purposes only.
