2GB Fujifilm xD-Picture Card (M Type)

The xD-Picture Card has been developed to meet the requirements of modern digital cameras. xD-Picture Cards Type M and Type H enable high storage capacities to be achieved at lower cost per megabyte. Using new: compressed methods of digital data storage: higher capacities are achievable with minimal impact on read and write times. Types M and H use different methods of digital encoding: however: their identical operating specifications make them fully interchangeable. Fujifilm xD cards are compatible with Olympus Cameras but do not support the panoramic function seen on some Olympus cameras (please see our Olympus xD cards for this additional functionality).

These figures for the number of images that can be stored on a 2GB memory card are based on the average JPEG file size when set on the camera's high resolution mode. The actual number of images will vary and depends on your particular camera model and the amount of detail contained within each image. MB stands for megabyte. There are 1024 megabytes per gigabyte (GB).
